As act of Company cares and maintains harmonic relationship with local community in nearby villages, PT Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk or PTBA celebrated 2014 end year by distributing for free of nine basic need packages (Sembako) to low income villagers.

The distribution is an implementation of State Owned Enterprise Minister Decree Number: 08/MBU/2013 about CSR Programs of PTBA on Social Community for Poor Eradication.

The distribution was held from 2015, 1st January until 8th January. In this year distribution, PTBA shared for 8,021 packages to 25 villages and 11 orphanages which are in the first ring area (direct impact area). The package contained were 10 Kilogram of high quality rice, 10 packs of instant noodle, 2 Kilogram of white sugar packed, 2 can of sweet milk and 1 liter of refill packed cooking oils.

The package was symbolically handed over by PTBA President Director (Mr.  Milawarma) in Bukit Asam Great Mosque, Talang Jawa, Tanjung Enim on 2015, January 1st on 08.51 AM.

Milawarma expressed that hopefully this event can be useful for the local community and PTBA will always care for the local community in nearby operational areas.
“With this event, hopefully local community can feel the direct benefit of PTBA existence  and have harmonic relationship between Company and local community,” Said Milawarma, PTBA President Director on his speech.

In the event, there was religious speech by Ustadz Wijayanto and also attended by General Director and Human Resources (Mr. Maizal Ghazali), General Manager UPTE (Mr. Wibisono), Members of Employees Housewives Association, PTBA Managements and Leaders (Muspika) of Lawang Kidul District.
