PTBA Trained 500 Teachers in Muara Enim
Thursday (05/28/2015) PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA conducted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, as One Month Can Read (SB3) training. The event held in Serassan Great Hall Muara Enim Regency and attended by 500 teachers from primary schools, kindergartens and early childhoods. The teachers were came from 8 sub-districts in Muara Enim Regency. PTBA partnership with Muara Enim Regency Education and Culture Agency to conduct the event.
With the strategy of smiles, greetings, dear, praised, facilitates, and happy wiould make students have high interest on learning to read, even supported by appropriate learning methods. Early read learning method could be easier, faster, and fun through classical methods without spelling, puzzle, construct words, find relationship among syllables, and a few writing. The daily learning process condition were maximum an hour and 3 pages.
Hopefully, through training with this method could became new knowledge and benefits for teachers on teaching their students. SB3 valued as appropriate way to be taught due to many elementary school students still read not properly and fluently. It could be applied in schools and to improve the teaching quality. PTBA always supports various activities to improve national education.
