Ramadan 1447 H Celebration: PTBA Provides Assistance to Orphans and the Underprivileged in the Ring I Area

Muara Enim, March 6, 2026 – In celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 H, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) organized the “Semarak Ramadhan 1447 H: Charity Program for Orphans and the Underprivileged in the Ring I Area of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk.” The program was held across PTBA’s Ring I operational areas from February 28 to March 9, 2026.
Eko Prayitno, Corporate Secretary Division Head of PTBA, stated that the program reflects the Company’s commitment and care in sharing happiness while strengthening relationships with communities surrounding the Company’s operational areas, particularly with orphans and underprivileged groups.
“Through this charity initiative, PTBA hopes to continue delivering tangible benefits to the community and contribute to improving social welfare in the Company’s operational areas,” he explained.
The series of charity activities took place on February 28, March 4, and March 5, 2026, featuring the distribution of assistance to students (santri) from several Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren) and orphanages located within PTBA’s Ring I area. The assistance is expected to help meet the beneficiaries’ needs during the month of Ramadan.
On that occasion, representatives and caretakers of the Islamic boarding schools and orphanages expressed their appreciation for PT Bukit Asam’s concern for the students and the surrounding community. They hope that such charity initiatives can continue to be carried out sustainably, providing meaningful benefits and a positive impact for the students and the local community.
As part of the program series, PTBA will also hold a Buka Bersama (communal iftar) with the Board of Directors of PTBA today, Friday (March 9, 2026), inviting students from Pondok Pesantren Al Faroz.
“This momentum is expected to serve as an opportunity to strengthen ties and reinforce the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan,” Eko concluded.
