Lawang Kidul, February 25, 2026 – In celebration of its 45th Anniversary, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) organized a social initiative titled Gerakan Menebar Senyum (“Spreading Smiles Movement”) under the theme “Delivering the Energy of Kindness Together.” The event was held at the Lawang Kidul Subdistrict Office Hall, Muara Enim Regency, on Tuesday (February 24, 2026).

PTBA’s Corporate Secretary Division Head, Eko Prayitno, stated that the program reflects the Company’s strong commitment to social responsibility, particularly toward communities in its operational areas, especially Ring 1 of Lawang Kidul Subdistrict.

“Through this initiative, the Company distributed free staple food packages to underprivileged residents in Lawang Kidul Subdistrict,” he explained.

In addition to distributing food assistance, the event also featured educational sessions on the importance of balanced nutrition. The program aimed to enhance public understanding of healthy eating habits and proper nutritional intake in daily life.

Appreciation was expressed by one of the beneficiaries, who conveyed gratitude to PTBA for the assistance provided.

“Besides receiving food assistance, we also gained new knowledge about balanced nutrition. We hope PTBA continues to achieve greater success in the years ahead,” said a resident.

Through the Gerakan Menebar Senyum initiative, PTBA hopes to continuously deliver positive energy and tangible benefits to the community while strengthening harmonious relationships between the Company and its surrounding environment.
