Welcoming the Holy Month Ramadhan 1438 Hijriyah at the same time be grateful for the blessings that Allah has given to PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA, especially the achievement of performance throughout 2016 that can generate business profit more than Rp 2 trillion in the middle of the global coal price uncertainly. PTBA held a mass charity to distribute 8,000 basic needs package to the dhuafa in the first ring area operational company.

The mass charity event held by PTBA centered on Jami Bukit Asam Mosque, Tanjung Enim which distributed more than 1,000 packages of basic needs for the community in two areas, Pasar Tanjung Enim Village and Tegal Rejo Village, on Friday morning (19/ 5).

PTBA President Director, Arviyan Arifin, in his speech said that PTBA will keep on improving the performance and the benefit of PTBA existence for the operational ring community. Not only in the form of the distribution of basic needs, "Insha Allah, community around PTBA will be no more underprivileged people, because with PTBA the whole community becomes prosperous", said Arviyan Arifin.

Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PTBA, Syaiful Islam also attended of this event was held in commemoration of PTBA's 36th anniversary celebration and welcomed Ramadhan 1438 Hijriyah.

"This activity is sourced from CSR PTBA funding program in empowerment and society field in poverty alleviation, where we distribute basic need packages to 25 villages in 5 sub-districts within Muara Enim and Lahat regencies," explained Syaiful Islam.

Head of Lawang Kidul sub-district, Rahmat Noviar hopes what PTBA has done for the community, especially in the ring area of ??the company, can built good relationship between the company and the society, so the atmosphere and conditions have been going well. "Hopefully the aliment received by the community provide benefits, in the future it is expected that more packages of basic needs given by PTBA to the poor people," said Rahmat Noviar.

Meanwhile, Suharti (40), citizens of Talang Java recipients of basic need packages thanks to PTBA that still given benefits for the local community.
