Celebrating Its 45th Anniversary, PTBA Channels Its Care Through a Blood Donation Drive
Jakarta, April 10, 2026 – In commemoration of its 45th Anniversary, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) organized a blood donation drive as part of the Company’s social responsibility program. The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of South Tangerang City.
The event, held at the Jakarta Representative Office on Tuesday (April 6, 2026), was met with high enthusiasm from participants. This was reflected in the number of donors who attended and underwent screening, reaching 87 people—surpassing the 73 individuals who had previously registered online.
Of this total, 55 participants were declared eligible and successfully donated blood. As a result, a total of 55 bags of blood (350 cc each) were collected, consisting of 21 bags of Type A, 15 bags of Type B, 19 bags of Type O, and 2 bags of Type AB.
Corporate Secretary Division Head of PTBA, Eko Prayitno, stated that the blood donation activity represents the Company’s tangible commitment to contributing positively to society, particularly in the health sector.
“Through this blood donation drive, PTBA aims to continuously foster a spirit of care and mutual cooperation within the Company. We hope that every drop of blood donated can bring hope and life to those in need, while also serving as a meaningful contribution from Bukit Asam employees to the community,” he explained.
Eko also expressed his appreciation to all parties who contributed to the success of the event.
“We would like to thank all participants for their sincere participation. May every good intention and contribution become a source of kindness for all of us and bring widespread benefits,” he added.
This blood donation drive is part of a series of activities commemorating PTBA’s 45th Anniversary, which carries the spirit of sharing and delivering sustainable positive impacts for society and the environment.
