Spreading the Joy of Eid al-Adha, PTBA Distributes 300 Sacrificial Animals Across Operational Areas

Tanjung Enim, May 28, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of MIND ID, Indonesia’s Mining Industry Holding, once again demonstrated its commitment to implementing the Company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility through the distribution of sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha.
This year, PTBA distributed a total of 300 sacrificial animals, consisting of 224 cows and 76 goats. The sacrificial animals were distributed across the Company’s operational areas.
The distribution program began with a ceremonial send-off held at the Bukit Asam Main Building (GUBA) Ceremony Field at 07:00 WIB before teams departed for Ring 1 areas and other distribution points.
Head of PTBA’s Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Halal Bihalal, and Eid al-Adha Social Committee, Weny Yuliastuti, explained that the sacrificial animal distribution is an annual corporate agenda carried out through the Company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program as well as the committee for religious celebrations.
“The distribution of sacrificial animals is a form of the Company’s gratitude and also part of our social and environmental responsibility to the community. The animals are distributed to villages in the Company’s Ring 1 areas, including mosques. Overall, from Tanjung Enim, Palembang, Sawahlunto, to Lampung, a total of 300 sacrificial animals were distributed this year,” said Weny.
She expressed hope that the assistance would provide tangible benefits to the community while strengthening harmonious relations between the Company and surrounding communities.
“We hope this assistance can bring happiness to the community, as not everyone can enjoy meat every day. We also ask for prayers so that PTBA may continue to prosper, enabling similar social programs to be carried out sustainably in the future,” she added.
Separately, PTBA Corporate Secretary Eko Prayitno emphasized that the sacrificial animal distribution reflects the Company’s strong commitment to fostering harmonious and sustainable relationships with the community.
“The momentum of Eid al-Adha reminds us of the importance of sharing and social compassion. PTBA remains committed to delivering benefits to surrounding communities through sustainable social programs. We hope this sacrificial animal distribution can strengthen ties and bring blessings to all parties,” said Eko.
The distribution details this year included 173 cows and 56 goats for communities in the Company’s Ring 1 areas in Tanjung Enim and Lahat. In addition, PTBA distributed 4 cows in Jakarta, 26 cows at Kertapati Port, 10 cows at the Ombilin Mining Site, as well as 11 cows and 20 goats at Tarahan Port.
The sacrificial animal distribution program is one of PTBA’s efforts to strengthen engagement with communities while providing tangible social benefits across the Company’s operational areas.
