PTBA and Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office Sign Cooperation Agreements on Legal Assistance and CSR to Ensure GCG-Aligned Strategic Projects

Lampung, December 3, 2025 — PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Lampung) regarding legal assistance in civil and administrative matters.
The agreement was signed by PTBA President Director, Arsal Ismail, and the Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office, Danang Suryo Wibowo, at the PTBA Tarahan Port Multipurpose Building (GSG), Bandar Lampung, on Wednesday (3/12/2025).
The cooperation covers the provision of legal assistance, including legal opinions, legal support for the Company’s strategic projects, and other collaborative efforts aimed at mitigating legal risks, including the prevention of corruption.
Arsal stated that the presence of Kejati Lampung as a legal advisory partner is expected to provide the necessary legal certainty and protection, enabling project execution to run more smoothly, transparently, and in accordance with regulations.
“This legal assistance also serves as a preventive measure to minimize potential legal issues that may arise during the planning or implementation of projects. With this support, PTBA can focus more effectively on achieving its planned operational and development targets,” he said.
In addition to the legal cooperation, both parties also signed another Cooperation Agreement (PKS) concerning the provision of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) assistance in the form of facilities and infrastructure for Kejati Lampung.
The TJSL agreement was signed by PTBA’s Director of Human Resources, Ihsanuddin Usman, and the Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office, Danang Suryo Wibowo. The scope of this cooperation includes TJSL assistance to support legal services provided by Kejati Lampung and to add value for the cooperatives under the guidance of Kejati South Sumatra.
Arsal emphasized that the signing of these two agreements marks a strategic step in strengthening the implementation of the Company’s projects to ensure they comply with applicable regulations and uphold the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
The signing of this Cooperation Agreement (PKS) also represents the company’s commitment to building synergy aimed at enhancing legal compliance, risk mitigation, and the protection of state interests.
“With these Legal Assistance and TJSL Cooperation Agreements, we hope that PTBA’s strategic projects can be implemented effectively while maintaining strong adherence to GCG principles through legal guidance from Kejati Lampung, ultimately providing broad benefits for the people of Lampung,” Arsal concluded.
